OPBSI inducted into the Step Hall of Fame

New York, NY - March 29, 2007 - In the February Issue of Latino University Magazine, LatinosStep.com announced Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated's (OPBSI's) Jessica M. Morales, "Remo", as one of first two inductees to its recently launched Step Hall of Fame. The Step Hall of Fame was established as a way to honor the legendary steppers and strollers, from the past and present, who have lead their teams to competitions only to consistently perform at high standards.

Jessica M. Morales, known as "the consummate professional," was recognized for her dedication to OPBSI’s National Step Team, the Soul Steppin’ Divas, since the inception of Latinostep.com. Her leadership to the Soul Steppin’ Divas is demonstrated by the Team’s successful summer showdowns and top-notch performances. "Like Jay-Z, Jessica owns the summer. Well-known by her name, when one thinks of "Remo," one thinks of precise Steppin'.

Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is a Latina-oriented sorority founded on March 15, 1989, at the University at Albany, State University of New York. Soul Steppin’ Divas - NST of OPBSI was established in the summer of 1999, under the direction of Jessica 'Remo' Morales. The NST was soon recognized as the Soul Steppin’ Divas.
