Sister Testimonials
The decision to join a Greek-lettered organization is one that is life-long.
What influences someone to make this type of decision? The reasons why are
varied. Many questions often arise during the decision-making process
which can include some or all of the following:
- What are the benefits?
- What are the disadvantages?
- Is it really a life-long commitment?
- To what extent does this organization adhere to its mission and philanthropy?
- How will membership to this organization allow me to contribute to society and to my community?
Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated recognizes that this can sometimes be
a difficult decision to make and may require additional insight from members
to make the best decision. On our website, several sisters of Omega Phi Beta
Sorority, Incorporated have taken the initiative and have written about their own decision-making processes, sharing what attracted them to the organization and what it means to be a member of a Greek-lettered organization.
Please note that these testimonials were written by sisters of the
organization. They are sharing experiences that allowed each of them
to find an organization that best fit her own specific interests and goals.
We do not promote the usage of the selection criteria described in the
testimonials as a checklist. These testimonials are provided solely for
the basis of
gaining a better understanding of why one would choose to pledge a
Greek-lettered organization and, more importantly, what Omega Phi Beta
Sorority, Incorporated has been able to provide for each of the women.
